General information

• By car: Zalakaros is accessible from more directions by road, coming from Budapest leave the highway M7 at kilometre 191 at the exit of Zalakomár and proceed towards Nagykanizsa on the main road 7 until the intersection Galambok. At the intersection turn right and proceed via Galambok towards Zalakaros (3-4 km). From the main road 7 there are more possibilities to teach Galambok. Whichever you choose, Zalakaros will be marked with road signs everywhere.
• By bus: The scheduled bus services ensure direct connection between Zalakaros and Budapest and many other cities during the whole year. (www.menetrendek.hu)
• Within the city: If you arrive at Zalakaros from the direction of Galambok, continue on the Termál Street, which extends to 4 lanes soon, turn left after the Hunguest Hotel Freya and continue upwards on the hill. Arriving to Zalakaros from the other direction, from the direction of Zalakomár or the northern shore of Lake Balaton turn left at the intersection (Zrínyi Street) and continue until the city centre, where the road extends to 4 lanes, then proceed to the hill (Panoráma Street) by turning right in front of the Hunguest Hotel Freya. On the top of the hill follow the Sport Street to the right and you can already see our hotel.

There are altogether 21 rooms in our hotel, of which 1 is a double room designed for people with reduced mobility, furthermore we await our valued guests with 11 double rooms, 3 three-bed rooms and 3 family suites with two bedrooms.

• Double room: max. 2 adults and 1 child (on extra bed or baby bed)
• Three-bed room: min. 2 adults + 1 child (from the age of 14), max. 3 adults
• Family room: min. 4 adults or 2 adults + 2 child (from the age of 14), maximum 5 adults + 1 child (on extra bed or baby bed)

Our room for people with reduced mobility is on the first floor directly next to the reception, where we can accommodate 2 people.

50% of the amount of the package price must be paid in advance within 5 working days after the receipt of the confirmation.

In case of a last minute reservation (within 3 days) the payment will be due at the time of arrival on site.

In case of a bank transfer please state the following data in the “remark” field to be able to issue the invoice about the advance payment:

• reservation number,
• name and address,
• date of your stay at the hotel.

In case of further questions our colleagues stay at your disposal.

• The ordered services may be cancelled without penalty until the 15th calendar day before arrival.
• In case of cancellation within 4-15 calendar days the penalty amount is 50% of the package price.
• In case of cancellation within 3 calendar days or failure to arrive 100% of the ordered services must be paid as penalty.

• check-in: from 14 o’clock
• check-out: before 10 o’clock
• We can provide early check-in and late check-out services for 1 000 HUF / room / hour after verification with the reception depending on the free capacity.

• Bathrobe: only for adults, change: 2 000 HUF / bathrobe per occasion.
• Animals are not welcome to our hotel.
• WIFI connection is available free of charge within the entire hotel area.
• Smoking is forbidden within the entire hotel area. (Law Nr. XLII of 1999 in force since 01.01.2018 about the protection of the non-smokers and certain rules for the consumption and distribution of tobacco products.)
• The parking place behind our hotel is available free of charge to our guests.
