Excursion hints

Leaving the roundabout to Kaposvár branching towards the highway M7 from the direction of Zalakaros on the main road nr. 7 (3rd exit) we may reach the beloved destination of the inhabitants of the city Nagykanizsa, the so called Csónakázó lake. The lake is excellent for fishermen and up to its name also suitable for boating. The playground handed over in the spring of 2019 promises funny moments for small and bigger kids as well. In the nearby forests there are plenty of longer and shorter hiking trails. From the look-out tower above the lake you can have a wonderful view to the city, the centre of which is located 5 km distant from the lake. The path around the lake has been renewed during the summer of 2019, which is perfectly suitable for sport activities for runners and bikers as well.
